SMS alerts will be sent to a SMS-capable cell phone or mobile device when an IM lead is missed and the site visitor completes the “offline contact” form.

How It Works 

  • The advertiser specifies an SMS address to receive SMS alerts via the System Contact Settings page
  • A site visitor initiates an instant connect session by clicking on the presence icon.
  • None of the available agents respond to the Instant Messaging  lead.
  • Site visitor competes the offline contact form
  • A SMS message is sent to the specified agent’s SMS-capable cell phone or device.
  • The agent calls the site visitor back with an immediate callback from the SMS phone.
