John Hanger President & CEO
John enjoys building successful technology companies. ContactAtOnce! is the fifth such company in which John has been involved at the senior management level. John’s 20 years of leadership experience spans companies including Flamenco Networks Inc., Atlas Commerce, Mercator, and SCT/Adage Systems. John started his career at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) after earning a BSEE degree from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
Marc F. Hayes, Jr. Founder and Executive VP of Strategy
Marc had the original idea that became ContactAtOnce!. Prior to founding the company, Marc spent 18 years at Accenture where he built a reputation as a pragmatic innovator who delivered solutions to business problems and opportunities. He held leadership positions including Messaging Practice Leader, electronic Customer Relationship Management (eCRM) Practice Leader, and CRM Practice Technology Leader. Marc is a respected authority in many areas of Messaging and Customer Relationship Management. Marc is a graduate of Clemson University.
Gary Christian Chief Financial Officer
Gary is a veteran finance and operations executive of multiple high-growth software companies including Compliance 360, another Software-as-a-Service provider, recently acquired by SAI Global, Inc. He brings a broad range of financial and operational experience to the company, including deep expertise in capital acquisition and management, profitability growth and customer retention. Gary began his career with Arthur Andersen & Company and advanced to executive management roles with Egleston Children’s Hospital, before moving to the software industry. He holds a Bachelor of Accounting degree from Bob Jones University and is a member of the CFO Technology Roundtable and the Technology Association Group of Atlanta.
Skip Dowd Senior VP of Automotive Solutions
Skip has devoted his entire professional career to the automotive industry working for 19 years in automotive targeted publishing. Skip has a long list of accomplishments in Sales Management, Operations, Product Development and Executive Management.Skip was the vision and leadership behind the team that launched AutoMart.com in 2004, managing the growth of AutoMart.com to over 2000 customers and 1.7 million unique visitors by 2008. Skip’s AutoMart.com team deployed ContactAtOnce! chat to over 1000 dealers across the country. It was during this time that Skip identified the opportunities with chat and developed a passion for the unique benefits chat brings to the automotive industry. After AutoMart.com was acquired by AutoTrader.com, Skip assisted with the transition and the eventual integration of AutoMart.com before joining ContactAtOnce! in January 2010. Skip has a depth of knowledge across the publishing, technology and dealer landscapes which helps him understand and meet the needs of the partners and customers of ContactAtOnce!. Skip graduated from Mount Union College with a degree in business.
Ed Parkinson VP of Sales, Automotive Solutions
Ed has been working with automotive dealers for 27 years and has championed many new services that “move the needle” for his customers. Ed helped pioneer the use of call tracking and measurement to increase sales and quantify the return-on-marketing during his 7 years at Who’s Calling Inc. Ed began selling and coaching auto dealers on ContactAtOnce! services in Q4 of 2006 and joined the company as VP of Sales in April 2007. He holds a B.B.A in Marketing and Management from Temple University.
Ed Javier VP of Sales, Real Estate Solutions
Ed gained knowledge and experience on website communications through his tenure at eStara/ATG. He also has more than 10 years of experience in online marketing and sales, starting with the Classified Venture’s premiere brands, Cars.com and HomeFinder. Prior to CV, Ed worked at Cigna Companies and taught marketing at Robert Morris College. Ed graduated from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, with a bachelor’s degree in economics. He also earned his MBA from DePaul University with a concentration in Marketing.
Scott Bogartz VP of Product Development
Scott understands software architecture and development processes. Prior to ContactAtOnce!, Scott directed the development of retail payments solutions at CheckFree. In this capacity, he led the creation of web services applications that leveraged CheckFree’s electronic payments capacity into new markets. Before CheckFree, Scott spent 5 years with a consulting firm specializing in custom development for startup software companies. In that role, Scott designed and developed web applications for consumer banking, CRM and workflow management. Scott holds BS and MS degrees in Mathematics & Computer Science from Emory University.
